Patsy “Pat” J. Carfara, 89, of North Catasauqua, died April 22, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Helen R. (Peters) Carfara for 68 years.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Louis P. and Helen M. (Stehnach) Carfara.
He retired as a sheet metal finisher from Mack Trucks after 35 years of service.
He proudly served his country in the Navy during the Korean War.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He coached for the Catasauqua youth baseball and football programs for many years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Lewis W. and his wife Diane, Dino and his wife Terry and Anthony M. and his wife Colleen; six grandchildren, Jason, Amy Santoroski, Ryan, Drew, Zach and Morgan; seven great-grandchildren, Dylan and Lilah Carfara, Harper and Juliette Santoroski and Piper, Evelyn and Jack Carfara; a sister, Mary; and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Donna J.; and a sister, Vincenteen Schaffer.

There will be a calling time 3-4 p.m., followed by a memorial service 4 p.m., May 1 at the funeral home, 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua.
