North Catasauqua Betterment Committee will begin hosting the 2022 car cruises.
The first cruise will be 5:30-8:30 p.m. May 2 at North Catasauqua William J. Albert Memorial Park, 701 Grove St.
There will be no rain date.

North Catasauqua Recreation Committee is planning events and activities for the summer months at the park.
The basketball summer program will be held May 16-July 20. Volleyball will begin soon as well, with a date to be determined.
The Amish Outlaws perform 7 p.m.-10 p.m. July 10.
The concert is funded by a matching grant from Pennsylvania Parks and Recreation and North Catasauqua Recreation Commission.
Participants are asked to bring a donation of nonperishable goods to the event to help Catasauqua Area Food Bank.
Other summer events at the park include band concerts featuring 99 Stringz 7 p.m. June 22 and Steel Creek 7 p.m. Aug. 24.
Family night will be held Aug. 17.
The committee asks the public to mark their calendars and come out to support these community events.

Catasauqua/North Catasauqua will celebrate Independence Day with a celebration beginning 11 a.m. July 2 at North Catasauqua park, ending with fireworks at dusk at the Alumni Field football stadium, 850 Pine St.
