We have appreciated all the support and encouragement you have given to Coplay Public Library during the last few months.

We can happily announce we will be reopening Mondays, starting May 2. We hope to see you again soon!

The library’s spring basket social is 4-6 p.m. May 14 during a dinner at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St. Proceeds from the dinner will benefit the church, while proceeds from the baskets will benefit the library.

The baskets will be on display at the library starting May 7.

If you would like to donate a basket or items for a basket, contact a board member or the library. Any assistance you can give us would be welcomed.

We are accepting donations for our October book sale, tentatively set for Oct. 7 and 8.

While we are grateful for any donations you can spare, we can no longer accept textbooks or encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest, books with writing or with torn or missing pages, anything damaged, magazines or VHS tapes. Also, please do not put donations in or by the book drop or by the doors. Staff members will gladly assist you in bringing anything into the building.

The library’s current hours through April are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

If you are vaccinated, you no longer need to wear a mask in the library. If you are not vaccinated, please continue to wear a mask for your safety and the safety of others.

We also encourage maintaining social distancing to ensure safety.

Curbside service is still available for anyone who does not wish to come into the library.
