Catasauqua: American Legion to sell cheesesteaks
Catasauqua American Legion Post 215, 330 Second St., will be having a cheesesteak sale 5-7 p.m. April 30.
Options include beef or chicken cheesesteaks with chips and a drink.
The event is sponsored by 1760 Pub and Grill and Lehigh Valley Edge.

Orders are due by May 3 for the ongoing Catasauqua High School band and chorus hoagie and sandwich monthly fundraiser. Delivery is expected May 10.

The next Catasauqua Garden Club meeting will be 1 p.m. May 4 at the Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua.
Lisa Walton, a new Pennsylvania Master Gardener, will present “Planning Your Cutting Garden.”
Members will have artistic and horticultural items for judging.
Plans for the annual plant sale 9 a.m. May 14 will be finalized.
Garden-friendly, curious visitors are always welcome.

The South Catasauqua annual neighborhood yard sale will be held 8 a.m.-2 p.m. May 13 and 14 at locations south of Race Street, up to and including Circle Drive.
The sale will be held rain or shine.
There is a small fee to participate. Payment is due by May 10 and can be made to Linda at 385 Faith Drive, Ronnie at 520 Circle Drive, Penny at 809 Bethlehem Road and Eugenia at 817 Bath Ave.

Catasauqua High School will hold a mega class reunion for every CHS graduating class, to give a chance for all to get together at one time.
The reunion is scheduled for 11 a.m.-4 p.m. July 2, with a rain date of July 3 at North Catasauqua William J. Albert Memorial Park, 701 Grove St.
The event will coincide with the J4 Celebration July 2. Look for the big tents, which will be arranged by class decades. Tables and chairs will be provided.
Also invited are friends who went to Catasauqua but moved or did not finish or lived here and went to Central Catholic, vo-tech or other schools. The committee also looks forward to seeing the past and present teachers and staff.
