Althea C. Moyer, 97, formerly of Kutztown, died April 10, 2022, at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall, where she had been a resident. She was the wife of the late Willam A. Moyer for 74 years.
Born in Bowers, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur A. and Ella M. (Sechler) DeLong.
She was a member of Zion’s Union Church of Maxatawny, where she was part of the prayer shawl ministry, crocheting many gifts for those in need.
She is survived by a daughter, Diane S. and her husband David W. Herber; a son, Timothy J. and his wife Dawn H.; five grandchildren, Tamara S. and her husband Gregory Marushak, Amanda S. Herber and fiance Terry Essig, Alex J. and wife Anna Hoppes, Stacey L. and her husband Christopher Billig and Stephanie L. and her husband Jonathan Pyne; eight great-grandchildren, Abigail, John, Owen, Jonah, Chase, Kaden, Cassilynn and Topher; and one great-great-granddaughter, Aurora.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Marie Fritch and Jean Greiss; and a brother, Carl DeLong.
