Lehigh Valley Zoo, 5150 Game Preserve Road, Schnecksville, will hold its Party for the Planet celebration April 22-24 sponsored by Cougle’s Recycling, Inc.

Take part in a scavenger hunt Saturday and Sunday by traveling around the zoo to different stations to learn about conservation and be entered to win a prize.

Bring a camera to take photos and say hello to the zoo’s mascot Radley the Sea Turtle and learn about their #KNOWPLASTICS campaign.

Stop by the interactive exhibits to learn about some of the animals that call the zoo home, plus check out the Earth Day-themed crafts and interactive games and activities.

Christ’s Church at Lowhill, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, New Tripoli, will host a Spring Penny Party April 29.

Doors will open 5:30 p.m. Game starts 7 p.m.

Morgenland Union Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, will have a drive-thru Kauffman’s Chicken Barbecue dinner 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 30 at the church.

The cost of a ticket will include half a barbecue chicken, baked potato and dessert.
