One of the most common houseplants is the African Violet.

These plants are readily available with a variety of different leaf and flower colors and patterns.

Join Penn State Extension Master Gardeners for an in-person African Violet workshop to learn about these fascinating plants.

The workshop is scheduled 10 a.m. to noon April 23 at Blocker’s Coffeehouse, 309 Front St., Catasauqua.

Each participant will be given a Penn State Extension, Master Gardener ‘pot’ mug to fill at their own discretion.

The registration cost includes a pot, soil and an African Violet to take home.

Preregistration is required to participate. No walk-ins accepted.

Refreshments are not included with registration.
