Parkland High School thespians are presenting the musical “Mamma Mia” April 20-24 in the high school auditorium.
“Mamma Mia” is a 2008 romantic musical comedy directed by Phyllida Lloyd and written by Catherine Johnson.
It is based on Johnson’s book from the 1999 musical of the same name.
“Mamma Mia” is based on the songs of the pop group ABBA, with additional music composed by ABBA member Benny Andersson.
The Parkland presentation is an excellent rendition of the movie and reveals the amazing talents of the performers.
This musical will be performed 7:30 p.m. April 20-23 and 3 p.m. April 24.
