Library offering teen, adult cooking classes

Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall, will host a virtual cooking experience for kids in grades five through 12 6-7 p.m. April 27.

Participants will be baking a recipe for Tik-Tok Style Quesadillas.

The recipe and prep instructions will be provided before the event.

Adults are invited to attend the “Spring Brunch with Chef Rob” live cooking class 1-2 p.m. April 30 on Zoom.

The brunch menu will include blueberry scones with a sweet orange drizzle, Mascarpone and strawberry stuffed French toast.

Recipes will be uploaded to the library’s blog the week of the program.

Parents, bring your little one, 18 months and older to explore and engage in sensory play at the library’s Messy Tots program 10-11 a.m. May 3 in the Carol and Perry Zirkel meeting rooms at the library.

Caregivers must stay and participate.

Some activities may be outside.

Registration is needed to attend all these programs.
