Lawmakers co-host shredding event April 30

State Rep. Ryan Mackenzie, R-134th and state Sen. Pat Browne, R-16th, will co-host a shredding event in Lower Macungie Township April 30.

Residents may bring items for shredding to the Lower Macungie Township municipal complex, 3402 Brookside Road, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event is open to residents and can not accommodate businesses.

Residents may bring up to four boxes, 10x12.5x16 inches, of items to shred per vehicle.

Eligible items include all papers and staples and paper clips need not be removed.

Due to pandemic concerns, residents are asked to remain in their vehicles while staff unload boxes for shredding.
