Janet B. Bieber, 88, formerly of New Tripoli, died April 11, 2022, peacefully at Parkland Manor, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Donald H. Bieber. Born in Williams Township, she was the daughter of the late Weston Rex and Florence (Ahner) Rex Lynn.
She graduated from William Allen High School in 1951.
She was a hard working woman employed at Woolworth’s Five-and Dime, Howard Johnson’s restaurant and before retiring, she worked in production for 21 years at Kraft Foods.
She was a member of Lowhill Church, where she served as treasurer for many years. She will be remembered as being a great mom and nana.
She enjoyed playing pinochle with her friends and family. She loved reading, traveling and casino trips but was content watching old movies on the Turner Classic Movie channel.
She is survived by a son, Jeffrey D. and his wife, Polly S., of Allentown; daughters, Gail A. Remaley, of Allentown, Bonnie L. and her husband, Ron Weber, of New Tripoli, Christina D. and her husband, Louis Bobbyn, of New Tripoli; grandchildren, Lance, Stacey, Carla, Valerie, Blake, Brittany, Alexander, Hayden, Charlize; great-grandchildren, Logan, Zoey, Ella, Cooper, Madysen, Solyn, Fallon, Olive. She was predeceased by brothers, James and Buddy; a sister, Beatrice Ryan.
Arrangements were made by the Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville.
