ACCHS had five very dedicated wrestlers who made the most of their season with huge improvements and gaining invaluable experience.
The team built a strong bond over the challenges they faced together, battling week after week in the toughest conference in the country. They worked harder than they thought they could and found opportunities to learn from every match.
The team amassed a 59-60 individual match record, with multiple medalists at the Pequea Valley Invitational, Hatboro-Horsham Holiday Classic and Lehighton Coal Cracker tournaments.
The season highlight was Miller placing fourth in Districts and moving on to Regionals. Gloc placed fifth and Kim finished in the top 12 in his first year of wrestling.
At Regionals, Miller earned three wins to finish seventh, one spot shy to qualify for states. He finished his junior season with an impressive 23-8 with 20 pins.
All of our Viking wrestlers will return next year, with the exception of Kim who will bring his one year of wrestling experience to the Division 1 football field at Bucknell University.
Congratulations are also in order for the members of the boys swim and dive time including our letter winners: First Year - Nick Janis, Aidan Wakstein; Third Year - JT Heinze; Fourth Year - Nathan Harris, James Manley, Ryan Norris and AJ Janis. Heinze and Harris were named MVPs.
