Lucinda Rae Hess, 83, of Allentown, died April 16, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospice inpatient unit, Allentown.

Born in Bath, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Beatrice (Bartholomew) Silfies.

She was of the Christian faith.

She is survived by a son, Scott and his wife Amy; a sister, Tegi Oplinger; two brothers, Raymond and his wife Dorothy Silfies and Robin and his wife Jane Silfies; a granddaughter, Alyssa; a daughter-in-law, Claudia Hess; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Kipp Hess; and her longtime companion, Peter Kuzma.

There will be a calling time 9-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., April 23 at the funeral home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton.

Contributions may be made to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley or to the Northampton Area Food Bank.
