Whitehall-Coplay School District families of incoming kindergarten students are invited to a special event. A kindergarten family preview night is set for 4-5:30 p.m. April 28 at Gockley Elementary School, 2932 Zephyr Blvd., Whitehall.

“The event is for all families who will have kindergarten students entering the 2022-23 school year,” said Michelle Khouri, district registrar/community relations. “The evening is open-house style and will provide families with the opportunity to tour the school, meet with staff, meet with special visitors and (receive) a bunch of extra-special surprises for our new members of the Class of 2035.”

There will also be a spirit wear sale during the event.

The first day of the 2022-23 academic year is Aug. 29.
