Franklin A. Reith Sr., 87, died April 14, 2022. He was the husband of the late Shirley P. (Wronowski) Reith, who died in 2010. Born in Limeport, he was the son of the late Marcus and Eva (Stortz) Reith. He was a member of Emmaus Moravian Church.

He was a hard worker and the co-owner of Reith Bros. Well Drilling for more than 50 years, which he owned with his late brother, William. He was also a farmer and painter.

He is survived by daughters, Catherine and her husband, Paul Ingram, Constance and her husband, Alan Kauffman; a son, Frank A. Jr. and his wife, Kimberly; a sister, May Knappenberger; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Marjorie Gruber; 10 siblings.

Memorial contributions may be made to Emmaus Moravian Church.

Services will be held 11 a.m. April 23 at Emmaus Moravian Church, 146 Main St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 10 to 11 a.m. April 23 in the church. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
