Carol J. Bandle

Carol J. Bandle, 84, of Coplay, died at St. Luke’s Hospital, Monroe campus. She was the wife of the late Richard Bandle Sr. for 60 years.

Born in New York, she was the daughter of the late Michael Jr. and Anna F. (Symenski) Drabic.

She was a 1955 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School and later attended Bethlehem Business College.

She did an internship at Eastern Airlines. She was a health aide and secretary for the Pennsylvania Department of Health for more than 20 years, retiring in 1998.

She was a longtime member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

She is survived by a son, Richard Jr. and his wife Sharon of Slatington; a daughter, Maria Rossi of Northampton; two grandsons, Tyler J. Bandle of Slatington and Vincent B. Rossi of Cementon; a sister, Joan Peters; a sister-in-law, Anne Drabic of Richlandtown; three brothers-in-law, Albert Bandle with Maria Medina of Miami, Fla., Tom Bandle and his wife Barbara of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and John Bandle Jr. and his wife Sharon of Anchorage, Alaska; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Ralph Drabic Sr.
