Shawn A. Lauer, 37, of Laurys Station, died April 4, 2022, in his home. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Maria L. Raysely, of Laurys Station and Scott G. Lauer, of Allentown.

He graduated from Parkland High School, Class of 2004.

He was a tree climber for several years in the Lehigh Valley.

In addition to his parents he is survived by a daughter, Makenzy A., of Laurys Station; a sister, Tanya L., of Laurys Station; maternal grandparents, Marguerite V. (Jones) and Anthony R. Raysely, of Laurys Station; an aunt, Christine M. Raysely and her wife, Jennifer Szymczak, of Nevada; an uncle, Michael A. Raysely, of Laurys Station; a nephew, Avery Prentice. He was predeceased by his beloved German Shepherd, King.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksville.
