Ronald G. Haring, 75, of Allentown, died April 8, 2022 in his home.

He was the husband of Cheryl L. (Bower) Haring to whom he was married 34 years.

Born Oct. 15, 1946 in Allentown, he was the son of the late Benjamin F. and Evelyn M. (Shoemaker) Haring.

He owned and operated Alburtis Auto Inc. from 1974 to 2017.

His passion in life was racing.

From 1977 to 2000, he drove car No. 85 Dirt Modified at the former Reading Fairgrounds and the former Nazareth Speedway and retired from Grandview Speedway.

In addition to his wife, Cheryl he is survived by sons, Keith A., of Allentown, Ron G. Jr. and his companion, Chrissy Powell, of Alburtis; sister, Kathy Bean and her husband, Terry, of Macungie; grandchildren, Hannah M., David Powell, Alexandria, Ronald G. III; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 7:30 p.m. April 14 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Don Kerns officiating.
