David E. Geiger, 69, of Schnecksville, died April 1, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Debra A. (Reese) Geiger for 48 years. Born in Stony Run, Berks County, he was the son of the late Ernest V. and Jean I. (Handwerk) Geiger.

He was a 1973 graduate of Penn State University.

He worked for Mack Trucks, Inc. for 36 years, retiring in 2009. He was the global vice president of customer service and had made numerous trips to France, Sweden and North Carolina. Since retirement, he was proud to help his brother, Tim, on his farm in Schnecksville.

Disney World, Ireland, Hawaii and traveling to the islands with friends and family were his favorite places to travel. He loved sports and enjoyed playing racquetball, softball and golf. He was an ardent supporter of the Penn State Nittany Lion football team and had season tickets for many years.

He enjoyed gardening, puzzles, attending grandchildren’s activities and just spending time with family and his wife, Deb.

Active in the life of his church, he was a member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church where he formerly served as council president and sang with the choir.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Wendy M. Tolan (Richard), of Breinigsville, Stacy L. Mesics (Eric), of Germansville; grandchildren, Brielle L. Fritz, Carson C. Mesics, Logan D. Mesics; siblings, Cynthia L. Hertzog (Larry), of Walnutport, Sandra L. Mosser (Charles III), of Schnecksville, Mary J. Walck (John), of Florida, Debra J. Haldaman (James), of Walnutport, Timothy F. (Deborah), of Schnecksville, Daryl V. (Denise), of Schnecksville; 15 nieces and nephews.
