Detour necessary due to turnpike bridge

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation crews are working to upgrade a bridge over the Northeastern Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Upper Milford Township, necessitating a traffic detour.

Motorists are asked to follow the posted detour.

The PennDOT bridge is on Vera Cruz Road. The road is closed to between Main Road East and Church View Road. Access is available only to local residents.

The detour uses Main Road East, Church View Road, Limeport Pike and Emmaus Road.
