Catasauqua Area School District will have the following full-time teaching positions available, beginning in the 2022-23 school year: sixth grade, eighth grade social studies/ELA, high school social studies, high school art, high school special education, high school science (all 7-12 grades science certifications accepted, preferably physics 7-12 grades; no chemistry certification), high school English/language arts and districtwide ESL.

Send a letter of interest, state standard application, resume, transcripts, credentials, three letters of reference and clearances to humanresources@cattysd.org by April 17.

Reminder: CASD will be closed April 14-18 for spring break. Classes will resume April 19.

Sheckler Elementary School will begin PSSA testing April 25.

Tests will continue through April 27.

Grades 3 and 4 will be tested in language arts during this time.

CASD Board of Education will next meet 7 p.m. May 10 in the conference room of the district administration office, 201 N. 14th St., Catasauqua.

Sheckler Elementary is looking to fill the school principal position. Candidates must be Pennsylvania certified, and the position takes effect July 1.
