Shawn A. Lauer, 37, of Laurys Station, died April 4, 2022, in his home.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of Maria L. Raysely of Laurys Station and Scott G. Lauer of Allentown.

He graduated from Parkland High School in 2004.

He was a tree climber for several years in the Lehigh Valley.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Makenzy A. Lauer of Laurys Station; a sister, Tanya L. Lauer of Laurys Station; maternal grandparents, Marguerite V. (Jones) and Anthony R. Raysely of Laurys Station; an aunt, Christine M. Raysely and her wife Jennifer Szymczak of Nevada; an uncle, Michael A. Raysely of Laurys Station; and a nephew, Avery Prentice.

Services will be private.
