Over the past few months, Catasauqua High School students have been participating in a number of spirit week activities to earn valuable points for their class. The competition looks fierce this year, as the juniors have a big lead with a total of 2,984 points, followed closely behind with the freshman class with 2,541 points. Sophomores have 2,459 points, and seniors have 2,258 points.

The next big tradition is the annual lip sync battle, which will take place at the end of the school year. Students are already working hard to put together their best performance. This is one event no one is going to want to miss.

CASD is looking to hire CHS students to work five hours a day, four days a week, Mondays through Thursdays, throughout the summer months for the building and grounds department. Pay is $10 an hour.

Application packets are available in the main office. Interviews will be held during regular school hours.

As of December 2021, Brothers Pizza, 1492 Main St., North Catasauqua, has been hosting fundraisers for the CHS Class of 2025 every Thursday. That means the class gets 10 percent of your purchase if you mention CHS.

This applies to takeout, delivery and dine-in options.

Thanks for supporting the Class of 2025 and ordering from a local business!
