Gregory C. Wert, 59, of Allentown, died April 2, 2022.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of Frederick C. and Constance K. (Haines) Wert of Allentown.

He was a graduate of William Allen High School.

He worked at the family business, Wert’s Cafe, for more than 40 years.

He was an avid bowler scoring three 300s in his career and an avid golfer having shot two holes-in-one.

He was a 25-year member of the Greenleaf Lodge 561 F&AM and the Coplay Saengerbund.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Chase L.; a brother, Philip C. and his wife Tina M. of Orefield; a sister, Kathleen W. and her husband James P. Drake of Fogelsville; and six nieces, Alyssa, Nicole, Ashley, Natalie, Lauren and Elizabeth.
