Egypt/Cementon: Lions Club plans fundraiser with Dan Schantz Greenhouse
Whitehall Lions Club is raising funds by selling Dan Schantz Greenhouse Monthly Madness cards.
The card entitles the purchaser to receive a free preselected item each month of the year.

Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 4331 Main St., Egypt, will be holding a Maundy Thursday service April 14 and a Good Friday Tenebrae service April 15.
Both services are set for 7 p.m.
Easter services with communion will be held 8 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. April 17.

There is an Easter egg hunt for children ages 10 and under scheduled for April 16 at Egypt Memorial Park, 4548 Main St.
This event is for park members only. You can register for park membership on the day of the egg hunt.
Registration begins noon. The event will start 1 p.m.

Whitehall-Coplay Middle School’s baseball team will play against Allentown Central Catholic 4 p.m. April 20 at Egypt Memorial Park’s Curt Simmons Field.
The Zephyrs return 4 p.m. April 22 to play Easton Area Middle School and 3:30 p.m. April 25 to face Bangor Area in a doubleheader.

Shepherd of the Hills youth group’s Egypt Shine Car Wash fundraiser continues through April 30.
To support the fundraiser, enter the code 43310 at the kiosk before choosing your wash.

The Shepherd of the Hills youth group will be hosting a roast beef dinner 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. May 1.
The meal will include beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, two vegetables, roll and dessert. Choose to dine in or carry out.

Egypt Community Church, 4129 S. Church St., is accepting registrations for Vacation Bible School, which will be 6-8:30 p.m. June 20-24.
Children ages 5 through fifth grade are eligible to attend.
