Coplay: St. Peter’s church to host Easter event
The annual Easter egg hunt will be held 1 p.m. April 16 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St. It is for children ages 10 and under.
Also, St. Peter’s is seeking volunteers to make pierogies. The church is also in need of volunteers for the summer picnic Aug. 7. Contact the church at 610-262-2417 to join the teams.
Additionally, St. Peter’s plans to offer companion niche ossuariums to church members for placement of remains at the cemetery on Hokendauqua Street. They are touted as less costly than a casket burial.
More information is to come.
