L.V. Business Women recipient
Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley Executive Director Michelle Zenie was named a Lehigh Valley Business 2022 Women of Influence recipient. The high-achieving woman was chosen for her career accomplishments based on professional experience, community involvement and a commitment to mentoring. To be eligible for the award, the winner must live or work in the Greater Lehigh Valley region. She will be honored at a celebration at 5:30 p.m. May 4 at the DeSales University Center.
Hnatow inducted at Scranton
Bethany Hnatow, of Bethlehem, was inducted into Omega Beta Sigma, the women’s business honor society at the University of Scranton. Induction is open to students who major or minor in business, have at least sophomore academic standing and earn a grade point average of 3.25 or higher. The sophomore is a marketing major at the Jesuit university.
Ruffino inducted to BBB-NBHS
Zachary Raffino, of Bethlehem, was inducted in the Elmira College Eta Sigma Chapter of Beta Beta Beta National Biological Honor Society. Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) has three major objectives: to promote scholarship in the biological sciences; to promote the dissemination of biological knowledge; and to encourage research.
Millheim presents ACS research paper
Shelby Millheim, of Bethlehem, recently presented her Marietta College undergraduate research at the American Chemical Society’s national meeting in San Diego, California.
The chemistry major researched on the investigation of the proton transfer mechanism in fluorescence quenching.
