The Highway Safety Network and State Farm Insurance are teaming up for Distracted Driving Awareness Month by hosting a TikTok contest to bring awareness to the dangers of teen distracted driving.
This contest is open to students in grades seven through 12, living or attending school in Berks and Lehigh counties.
Participants are tasked with creating a video posted to their public TikTok account with a safety message regarding the dangers of distracted driving.
This contest aims to bring awareness to the dangers of distracted driving and to prevent teen distracted driving.
The contest runs through 11:59 p.m. April 10.
To officially enter, all participants must follow and tag @highwaysafetynetwork and include the following hashtags: #HSNandSF22, #stopDD and #ContestEntry.
Prizes, sponsored by State Farm, will be awarded to the top three entries.
The grand prize winner will be awarded $500, the first runner-up will receive $300 and the second runner-up receives $150.
Winners will be selected by a panel of judges and bonus points will be awarded to those videos with the most likes.
