It’s Easter Egg Hunt time!
The Salisbury Township Recreation Advisory will host the township hunt 10 a.m. April 9 for children ages 3-10 at Franko Park, weather permitting. A registration form is available at www.salisburytownshippa.org and must be filled out and returned to the township building by April 6.
Speaking of Easter, the South Mall is taking pictures with the Easter bunny April 9, 10, 14, 15 and 16. Bring your little ones out and go home with a photo memory.
Salisbury Township schools will be closed for spring break April 14, 15 and 18. Enjoy the nice long weekend.
The next two T-shirt days at Salisbury Elementary School are April 8 and April 22.
There is a school board meeting 7:30 p.m. April 20 at the administration building.
Curbside branch collection begins April 18. In order to be collected, branches can be no longer than 5 inches in diameter or 5 feet long and should be bundled with twine. Smaller twigs can be placed in an open container. Only six bundles and/or cans are permitted per property. Please have branches on the curb by the evening of April 17.
Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church’s Ladies Aid Society is holding an indoor yard sale fundraiser. The sale runs 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 23.
Looking ahead, as you are doing some spring cleaning, keep in mind the Salisbury Athletic Booster Club is having a clothing drive June 4 at Salisbury High School. You can clean out your closets and donate your finds to the fundraiser. It’s a win-win!
