Liberty girls lacrosse team hoping to show growth

Improvement is the name of the game for Liberty’s girls lacrosse team.

After a 2-12 campaign a year ago, head coach Laurie Ann Muller is looking for progress and competitiveness from this year’s group.

“We are working to fill the roles of a strong senior class and excited about new talent in the freshman class,” said Muller. “Our number one team goal is to work as a team and have good communication on and off the field.”

The Hurricanes will rely on returning players Sarah Fitzpatrick (Junior, Midfielder), Fallon Ingram (Senior, Attack), Marren Broesicki (Sophomore, Midfield/Attack), Devon Koch (Senior, Goalie), Yanna Bozakis (Junior, Attack), Sophia Csatari (Sophomore, Attack) and Sofia Castro (Senior, Defense).

Some of the newcomers that Muller is hoping will contribute are Ella Minotti (Sophomore, Attack/Midfield), Malia Lockhart (Freshman, Defense/Midfield) and Emma Crosson (Sophomore, Defense).
