Liberty’s boys lacrosse team is taking a simple approach this season according to head coach James Martell.

“Fear no one, respect everyone,” said Martell, referencing a quote by Arkansas men’s basketball coach Eric Musselman.

After finishing last year 1-13, Liberty hopes they can improve from last year’s shortcomings.

Returning players for the Hurricanes include Sr. (M) Carson Vella, Sr. (M) Keegan Corr, Sr. (D) Brennan McKeown, Sr (D) Matt Ingram, Jr. (M) Phoenix Henry, Jr (A) Jonny Smith, Sr (G) Ben Wagner and SO (D) Dylan Benway.

Newcomers are Fr (A) Nate Vella, Fr (M) Landon Lane, Fr (Face off) Jason Torres, Sr (LSM) and Jude Chichester.

With the usual cast of teams like Parkland, Emmaus, Central Catholic, Easton and Freedom separating themselves in the upper tier of the East Penn Conference, Liberty would like to climb the ladder into a middle tier.
