The women of the Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua, 210 Pine St., are planning a flea market, basket raffle and bake sale event, set for 9 a.m.-1 p.m. April 9.

There will be knickknacks, household items, kitchen gadgets, books, puzzles and children’s items.

Catasauqua Borough will be holding an egg hunt 1 p.m. April 9, with a rain date of April 10.

The event will be held on the St. John Street side of Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St.

The hunt is courtesy of Catasauqua firefighters.

***

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., and Blondies Cupcakes are partnering for a free community egg hunt for Catasauqua and North Catasauqua children.

The event will take place 10 a.m. April 16, rain or shine, at the church.

Children ages 1-6 will do the egg hunt on the church lawn and children ages 7-12 will play bingo inside.

An adult must stay with the child.

Reservations are required, as space is limited.

For information, text or call 610-739-6006.

***

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., will have a bag sale on everything in the store, unless otherwise marked, through April 13.

The shop’s business hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.

We are happy to accept donations of good, used, clean clothing during store hours, too. Proceeds are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.
