George H. Ehret Jr. 75, of Bethlehem, died March 28, 2022. He was a son of the late Anna (Donchez) and George H. Ehret Sr. He was the husband of Rita M. (Hines) Ehret.

He worked in quality control at the Bethlehem Steel Corp. and Lehigh Heavy Forge.

He was involved in the steelworker union until his retirement in 2018. In his younger years, he enjoyed road trips on his motorcycle.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Rita M. and Jessica Lehr and her husband Glen; three grandchildren, Anna C., Talia C. and Daniel P. Lehr; a nephew, Richard J. Ehret Jr. and his wife Sue; and a niece, Tracy Jones.

He was predeceased by a son, Daniel Ehret; and a brother, Richard J. Ehret Sr. and his wife Marion.
