Roughies Report: CHS Debate Team brings home a win against Pennridge

Congratulations to Catasauqua High School Debate Team members Grant Heimbecker, Kayla Cunningham and MJ Price for their recent win over perennial powerhouse Pennridge High School, Perkasie.

Reminder: March 31 is the last day to drop off your activity-bag items and travel-sized products for patients at Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital as part of Catasauqua High School Digital Media Club’s community donation drive. Partnering with Catasauqua Police Department and The Elevate Foundation, items such as coloring books, crayons, small crafts, stickers, small toys, clay, etc., are being collected toward the activity bags. Travel-sized toiletries being collected can be toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, body wash, body and hand lotion, contact solution and cases and individually packaged items. All items should be dropped off at the police department, 90 Bridge St., Catasauqua.

The next iteration of the special education parent training series for the 2021-22 school year, offered by Catasauqua Area School District, is planned for 6-7:30 p.m. April 20 at the district administration office, 201 N. 14th St., Catasauqua. This fourth and final training is titled “Study Skills/Homework.”
