The Lehigh Township Lioness/Lions are looking to sponsor any 10th- or 11th-grade student who would like to attend a leadership weekend, sponsored by District 14K Lions. The event is set for May 13-15 at Camp Victory in Millville. The seminar begins Friday evening and ends noon Sunday.

Students will participate in a variety of sports, team building and team projects, including a zip line and fishing. They will have the opportunity to hear from professionals about the decision-making processes through adulthood to help mold their future. This will be a drug-, alcohol- and tobacco-free weekend.

This is open to students from Northampton, Lehigh and many other counties. Students do not have to be affiliated with a Leo Club.

Registration cost, transportation, meals, snacks and cabin lodging will be provided. The only thing the student needs is bedding/sleeping bag, towels, outdoor clothes and a great attitude. Lions Club members are the chaperones and counselors.

Contact Lion Past District Gov. Karlene Laub at 610-760-1170 and leave a message or karlenelaub@gmail.com.
