Johnny Daniel Peralta, 27, of Emmaus, was arrested Feb. 17 for alleged strangulation, simple assault and harassment following an incident in the 200 block of Ridge Street, according to Emmaus police.
Simple assault
Joel Anthony Vega, 18, of Emmaus, was arrested Feb. 19 for alleged simple assault after an incident in the 200 block of Powder Mill Lane, according to Emmaus police.
DUI
Tanya Brown, 45, of Emmaus, was arrested Feb. 7 for allegedly driving under the influence, expired registration and expired inspection in the 800 block of Chestnut Street, according to Emmaus police. Brown was transported to the Lehigh County DUI Center.
Yailin DeJesus Jimenez, 31, of Emmaus, was arrested Feb. 12 for allegedly driving under the influence in the 600 block of Harrison Street, according to Emmaus police. Jimenez was transported to the Lehigh County DUI Center.
Laquinton Mart Sistrunk, 41, of Emmaus, was arrested Feb. 19 for allegedly driving under the influence, careless driving and an accident involving an unattended vehicle in the 600 block of Walnut Street, according to Emmaus police. Sistrunk was transported to the Lehigh County DUI Center.
Possession of a small amount of marijuana
A 16-year-old female, of Macungie, was arrested Feb. 16 for alleged possession of a small amount of marijuana at Emmaus High School, 500 Macungie Ave., according to Emmaus police.
Stolen vehicle
A 2015 silver Subaru Legacy, valued at $10,000, was removed from North Third Street, according to Emmaus police. The vehicle was reported stolen Feb. 27 and was later recovered in Salisbury Township.
Theft from vehicle
A catalytic converter, valued at $1,000, was removed from a Ford E350 truck parked at 126 State Ave., according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Feb. 23.
Three catalytic converters were removed from three vehicles parked at 601 State Ave., according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Feb. 23.
A catalytic converter was removed from a Ford F250 pickup truck while it was parked in the 500 block of Minor Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Feb. 11.
Two catalytic converters, valued at $4,000, were removed from a Chevrolet stake body truck while it was parked in the 300 block of Minor Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Feb. 14.
A catalytic converter, valued at $1,000, was removed from a Ford van in the 900 block of Glenwood Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Feb. 17.
Theft
A ladder, valued at $400, was removed from the side of a building at Service Master, 933 Chestnut St., according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Feb. 17.
Cooking oil, valued at $2,000, was removed from five different businesses within the borough, according to Emmaus police. The theft was reported Feb. 16.
Found item
A child’s Next bicycle was found in the 1400 block of Chestnut Street Feb. 21, according to Emmaus police. The bicycle was taken to the Emmaus Police Department headquarters, 400 W. Jubilee St.
