Dodgeball athletes needed
Teams registration continues through April 1 for the 10th annual Great Balls of Fire Dodgeball Tournament, a one-day fundraiser to benefit Lehigh Valley Health Network burn survivor programs.
Lower Macungie Middle School, 6299 Lower Macungie Road, will host the event beginning April 30.
Doors open 11 a.m. Tournament play begins noon.
The winning team will be awarded a trophy and golf package from Shepherd Hills Golf Club.
All competitors will receive a T-shirt, Subway lunch and appetizers at Foundation Tavern afterwards.
There is no limit on how many players each team can have, however, only seven players may compete at once and each team must have two female athletes on the court at the start of each game. All players must be 18 years or older.
There is a registration fee for teams and an admission fee for spectators and fans.
Masks are required for players and spectators.
