Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

MARCH 5

An unwanted person at Catasauqua Apartments, 118 Bridge St., was reported to police.

A citation was issued at Bridge and Front streets for a traffic violation.

A domestic disturbance, with no arrests, was investigated in the 3000 block of Front Street. The incident involved a domestic argument in a vehicle, police said.

In the 400 block of Limestone Street, a motorbike complaint was addressed.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance, with no arrests, in the 500 block of Race Street.

MARCH 6

A dog was found in the 200 block of Main Street and later returned to its owner.

At Fourth and Walnut streets, an animal complaint was investigated.

Police assisted with a report of an assault in the 300 block of Peach Street.

MARCH 7

A hit and run at Front and Union streets caused property damage, the report said.

One vehicle was involved in a motor vehicle accident at Circle Drive and Poplar Street.

Parking complaints were addressed at 301 Mulberry St. and in the 400 block of Front Street, the latter with the vehicle ticketed.

An animal complaint regarding an injured hawk or other bird was investigated in the 100 block of Race Street.

Officers responded to a report of an ordinance violation at South Front and Poplar streets. The resident was advised of the fire pit ordinance.

MARCH 8

Police responded to two complaints of nondomestic threats via text and one complaint of harassment by communication at the same residence in the 200 block of Howertown Road. Justin Brown, 33, of Whitehall, was cited for harassment as a result.

A juvenile complaint in the 900 block of Bridge Street was investigated.

Traffic violations occurred in the 500 block of Second Street, at Bridge and Limestone streets and in the 200 block of Race Street, the latter with a verbal warning issued.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1100 block of Front Street, North Catasauqua, for a vehicle stop.

A 14-year-old female, of Catasauqua, was cited for harassment at Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St.

A package was reported stolen in the 100 block of Front Street.

Police responded to a report of harassment in the unit block of Front Street.

A vehicle was egged and scratched in the 500 block of Pine Street, the report said.

MARCH 9

A neighbor dispute took place in the 100 block of Front Street.

In the 700 block of Front Street, a hit and run occurred.

Parking complaints were addressed in the 700 block of Fifth Street and the 400 block of Crane Street, the latter also involving a neighbor dispute.

Harassment by communication in the 300 block of Church Street was reported.

A mental health issue in the 100 block of Front Street was addressed.

MARCH 10

At Church and Front streets, a traffic violation occurred.

Police investigated a fraud report in the 500 block of Front Street.

A juvenile complaint at Innovative Arts Academy, 330 Howertown Road, was addressed.

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 1000 block of Railroad Street.

In the unit block of Cambridge Place, a parking complaint was addressed.

A male from Whitehall was arrested on DUI charges in the 200 block of Race Street. The incident involved a motor vehicle accident.

MARCH 11

Drivers were cited during vehicle stops at Second and Race streets.

Animal complaints were investigated in the 700 block of Third Street and the 600 block of Poplar Street, the latter involving an ordinance violation and referred to an animal control officer.

Police conducted welfare checks in the 700 block of Limestone Street and at Whitier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., the latter involving a juvenile.

Amy Lynn Delong, 40, of Catasauqua, was arrested at the police station, 90 Bridge St., for simple assault and harassment.

MARCH 12

An unwanted person at 301 Mulberry St., had police at the scene.

A verbal dispute/domestic disturbance at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., was investigated. No arrests were made.

Loose dogs were found in the 400 block of Circle Drive and the 400 block of St. John Street. The owners later located their dogs.

A catalytic converter was reported stolen in the 600 block of Faith Drive.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1300 block of Third Street, North Catasauqua.

MARCH 13

A security check was conducted in the 800 block of Front Street.

A citation was issued at South 14th and Race streets for a traffic violation.

The department is continuing an investigation of a domestic disturbance that took place in the 300 block of School Street. Charges are pending.

Welfare checks were conducted in the 100 block of South Front Street and the 600 block of Fourth Street, the latter involving a citizen assist.

Police responded to a noise complaint at Railroad and Walnut streets.

MARCH 14

A parking complaint in the 200 block of Pine Street was addressed.

Juveniles fighting at Innovative Arts Academy, 330 Howertown Road, was handled in school, the report said.

A suspicious person in the 400 block of Church Street was reported.

At Whitter Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., a civil matter involving a custody issue took place.

Officers investigated a report of credit card theft/fraud in the 100 block of Second Street.

In the 600 block of Third Street, a neighbor dispute occurred.

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers in the 1200 block of Second Street for a mental health emergency.

MARCH 15

A domestic disturbance involving a verbal argument had police at the scene in the 100 block of Front Street.

A loud music complaint in the 100 block of Milton Street was addressed.

Officers responded to a harassment report in the 200 block of Church Street.

In the 400 block of Prospect Street, police investigated a report of check fraud.

A suspicious person in the 500 block of Fourth Street was reported.

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., officers served a warrant for a wanted person for Lehigh County Sheriff’s Department.

MARCH 16

Traffic violations occurred at Front and Bridge streets, with the driver cited; at South 15th and Race streets, with the driver cited; and in the 400 block of Howertown Road.

Juveniles - an 11-year-old male and a 12-year-old male - were cited for disorderly conduct at Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St.

Parking violations occurred in the 200 block of Wood Street.

Officers responded to a civil matter in the 100 block of South Front Street.

MARCH 17

Warnings for traffic violations were given at Front and Bridge streets and at 880 Walnut St.

Police conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of Pine Street.

Officers investigated a noise complaint in the 400 block of Race Street.

MARCH 18

Police checked on the welfare of a person in the 500 block of Pine Street.

A suspicious person and activity in the unit block of Race Street were reported.

A vehicle was ticketed in the 100 block of School Street.

In the 700 block of Second Street, a verbal domestic disturbance took place.

Officers assisted a citizen with a general complaint in the 600 block of Third Street.

An unattended death in the unit block of Second Street was investigated.

MARCH 19

A disturbance that occurred in the 500 block of St. John Street is under investigation.

Unemployment fraud in the 500 block of Race Street was reported to the department.

In the 200 block of Front Street, officers conducted a welfare check.

MARCH 20

Larry Dieter, 54, of Whitehall, was cited for public drunkenness in the 600 block of Front Street, police said.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police at Fourth and Cypress streets and in the 1100 block of Seventh Street.

Traffic violations occurred at Second and Mulberry streets, with a warning given; at Railroad and Union streets, with the driver cited; and at Second and Union streets, with a warning given.

Parking complaints were investigated in the 700 block of Second Street and at Second and Chestnut streets, with the vehicle ticketed.

Charges have been filed against Jan Imbert Carpio, 27, of Catasauqua, for theft by unlawful taking or disposition and receiving stolen property in the 400 block of Walnut Street, police said.
