“The Addams Family,” with ironically macabre characters created by Charles Addams for his single-panel New Yorker magazine cartoons, lurches onto the stage, 7 p.m. March 30, April 1, 2 and 2 p.m. April 1, 2, auditorium, Emmaus High School, 500 Macungie Avenue, Emmaus.
Director Jill Kuebler is assisted by Music Director Julia Wallace, Set Designer Chris Kollar and Choreographers Ashley Westgate and Luke Csordas.
With music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, the musical comedy debuted on Broadway in 2010.
The original Broadway production received a total of 10 Tony Award nominations, receiving one Tony.
Songs include “When You’re an Addams,” “One Normal Night,” “Pulled,” “Full Disclosure” and “Crazier Than You.”
