The Whitehall tennis team has started their season 0-3 as of early this week.

The team’s most recent loss was a 4-2 defeat to Easton.

In the loss, Karim Wasfy and Nate Mak were winners for the Zephs. Wasfy defeated Chris Eardley 6-4, 6-3 at one singles. Mak was a winner at two singles, defeating Mike Martylak 7-6, 6-3.

Josh Laky fell to Josh Henry at three singles, 4-6, 6-3, 6-1.

The Zeph doubles team all fell. Dan Labram and Freddy Issa lost 6-2, 6-0 at two doubles while Lex Prebosnyak and Gabby Roustic fell 6-3, 6-1 at three doubles. Antoni Szlagiewicz and Vincent Tran lost at four doubles 6-4, 6-1.

The Zephs dropped their second game of the season to Emmaus, 6-0. Mak made things close at two singles falling 7-6, 6-3. Laky had another close loss, falling 6-3, 6-1, after taking the first set 6-4.

Whitehall dropped its opening match 6-0 to Central.
