Salisbury Elementary PTO hosts movie day March 27

The Salisbury Elementary School PTO is holding a movie day.

Join us at the Emmaus Theatre to see the Disney Pixar movie “Luca” March 27.

The doors open 3:30 p.m. and the movie starts 4 p.m.

Snacks and admission are provided by the PTO. Please RSVP on the PTO tool kit so there are enough refreshments for everyone.

The next two T-shirt days at Salisbury Elementary School are March 25 and April 8. It’s a great day to be a Falcon!

March 29 marks the end of the third semester for Salisbury High School and Salisbury Middle School. The end is in sight!

There is a school board meeting 7:30 p.m. April 20 at the administration building, 1140 Salisbury Road.

Would you like to plant a garden but don’t have the yard space? Franko Farm has plots available for a small fee. For questions or information, contact Al Sulzer at 610-797-4000, ext. 5826.

The Salisbury Township Department of Public Works is looking to hire summer help for the summer season. Duties will include park maintenance work such as grass cutting, trimming, litter removal and bathroom cleaning with the potential for other minor maintenance duties as necessary. For more information and a link to an application, visit the Salisbury Township website at salisburytownshippa.org/jobs.

Now that the weather is getting warmer, if you start working in your yard, remember to collect your branches and twigs the proper way. To be collected, branches can be no longer than 5 inches in diameter or 5 feet long and should be bundled with twine. Smaller twigs can be placed in an open container.

Curbside branch collection will begin in Salisbury Township the week of April 18.
