Catasauqua American Legion Post 215’s breakfast, held Feb. 27 at 330 Second St., was well attended with approximately 150 patrons. This breakfast reportedly marked the Post’s 30th anniversary of serving breakfasts. Food offerings included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links, SOS, home fries, French toast, juice, coffee and tea.
A number of familiar faces attended the meal, including many regular attendees. Dorothy and Joe Vassa brought their group, and Carol York was there with her table of friends. Police Chief Doug Kish and his wife also stopped by.
The event featured prizes. Johnathan Fillman won a certificate for $25 for dinner, and Patricia Snyder got the family breakfast for four.
