Loretta Legath, 88, of Lehigh Township, died March 17, 2022, at home. She was the wife of Stephen G. Legath Sr. for 68 years.

Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Florence DeHaven. After their deaths, she was raised by an aunt and uncle, the late Theodore and Elsie Meckes.

She was a sewing machine operator for Cross Country Clothes for 38 years until she retired.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Robin and her husband Joseph Wolfer of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Kathy L. and her husband Mark Kremus of Danielsville; a son, Stephen G. Jr. with Patty Gormley of Lehigh Township; four grandchildren, Jonathan, Stephen, Aubrey and Rebecca; and four great-grandchildren.
