James M. Kohler, 56, of Bath, died March 12, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late James D. and Patricia A. (Stevko) Kohler of Bath.
He was a 1983 graduate of Northampton High School. He then studied at Northampton Community College, Bethlehem, for two years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from East Stroudsburg University in 1987.
He was a materials specialist at Air Products, Allentown, for the past 10 years. Earlier, he worked in computer inventory for Genesis Engineers/Sanofi, Swiftwater, for four years. He was in charge of auto parts inventory with Federal-Mogul Corporation, Allentown, for several years earlier.
He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bath, where he was an altar boy and part-time organist.
He earned his Eagle Scout award while with Boy Scout Troop 43. He was a part-time music deejay and offered his services to the community for years.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Michael A. Kohler and wife Deanna of Nazareth and John D. Kohler of Bath; three nieces, Aimee, Emily and Isabelle; a nephew, Alistair; a godmother and aunt, Kathy Schleppy of Bath; a godfather, Robert Janco of Palmerton; and many cousins.
