Geoffrey S. Chenworth, 59, of Schnecksville, died March 14, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Kristin K. (Bruns) Chenworth for 32 years.
Born in Baltimore, Md., he was the son of Lawrence R. Sr. and Joan G. (Weitzel) Chenworth.
He graduated from Calvert Hall College High School in 1980, where he was a captain on the undefeated 1979 state championship football team. He graduated from Bucknell University in 1984 with a degree in political science. He was a four-year starter and captain for Bucknell men’s lacrosse team.
He owned Geoffrey Chenworth Agency, Orefield, since 2010. Earlier, he worked at Press Ganey Associates, Biomedical Sciences and Allergan Medical Optics.
He taught lacrosse at for Schnecksville Playground Association starting in 2000. Later he coached high school boys lacrosse at Parkland, Central Catholic and Northampton Area high schools.
He volunteered on the trail maintenance crew with Trexler Game Preserve.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by three children, Megan L. Chenworth of Chicago, Ill., Andrew G. Chenworth of Northampton and Stephen G. Chenworth of Cleveland, Ohio; a grandson, Hunter C. Chenworth; four siblings, Lawrence R. Chenworth Jr. with Cindy of North Carolina, Lori A. Koga of Maryland, Randall C. Chenworth Sr. with Colleen of Maryland and Sean P. Chenworth Sr. with Patty of Maryland; and many nieces and nephews.
