EHS Theater Department presents ‘The Addams Family: School Edition’

Mrs. Kaunitz from Interact Club will host an informational meeting 2:30-3 p.m. March 24 about Camp Neidig, a summer opportunity for juniors only. To eliminate costs for Emmaus High School families, the Emmaus Rotary Club will also sponsor students interested in visiting the camp. The EHS Theater Department will perform “The Addams Family: School Edition” March 30 through April 3. Depending on the day, shows will be held 2 p.m. and/or 7 p.m. Find ticket prices, showtimes and more information on the EHS website. The Student Government Association is collecting boxed macaroni and cheese to benefit the EHS Angel Network and its local families. Bring donations to Rooms 442 or 537 now through March 31.
To benefit The Chemo Bag, a nonprofit organization aiding chemotherapy recipients, National Honor Society is collecting small items such as mini hand sanitizers, lip balms, individually-wrapped candy, coloring supplies and puzzle books. Donations can be left in Room 575 now through April 1.
Tickets for the 2022 Senior Ball will go on sale April 1, with guest forms due April 6. Find the paperwork and event details on the “Class of 2022” Schoology page.
Habitat for Humanity returns with its annual spaghetti dinner 5-7 p.m. April 2 in the EHS cafeteria. Students may purchase tickets from a club member or Ms. Russo in Room 513. The dinner aligns with showtimes for “The Addams Family: School Edition,” so families may plan their visit to EHS accordingly. Contact mrusso@eastpennsd.org for more information.
For winners of the March 19 Rotary 4-way Speech Contest: the upcoming competition levels will be held April 2 (regional) and April 9 (final). Cash prizes up to $1,000 will be awarded and updates will be sent to your school email from anmoyer@eastpennsd.org.
To fundraise for the National High School Journalism Convention trip in April, The Stinger is selling toy worms and Pura Vida friendship bracelets. Bracelets vary by availability. Make purchases in Room 559 or look for the staff table outside the cafeteria during lunch periods.
Check around school hallways and bulletin boards for QR codes – the EHS School Store is raffling class merchandise and other prizes. For a chance to win, use a cellphone camera or Chromebook to scan codes throughout the school.
