Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

FEB. 28

A driver was cited in the 300 block of Pine Street for a traffic ordinance violation.

A warning was issued at Fifth and Pine streets for a traffic violation.

Police checked on the welfare of a student at Innovative Arts Academy, 330 Howertown Road, and on an individual in the 100 block of Howertown Road.

Officers responded to a civil matter in the 600 block of Front Street.

The theft of a package in the 100 block of Union Street was investigated.

Parking complaints were investigated in the 700 block of Crane Street for a parking dispute and at Bridge and Railroad streets for a violation.

MARCH 1

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers at Second and Arch streets, North Catasauqua, for a traffic incident and Whitehall police in the 400 block of Howertown Road, Catasauqua.

A tobacco violation on Innovative Arts Academy property, 330 Howertown Road, was handled by the school, the report said.

A juvenile complaint at Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St., was investigated.

MARCH 2

A burglar alarm sounded in the 600 block of Pine Street.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1100 block of Second Street and Easton police in the 300 block of Church Street, Catasauqua.

Parking complaints were addressed in the 200 block of Front Street, the 600 block of Limestone Street and the 600 block of South 14th Street, the latter with the vehicle ticketed.

Police checked on the welfare of a student in the unit block of North 12th Street.

A complaint of a burning ordinance violation in the 400 block of Race Street had police at the scene.

A citation was issued at Pine and St. John streets for a traffic violation.

A juvenile complaint in the 400 block of Limestone Street was addressed. The case was referred to a school resource officer.

Reports of harassment were investigated at the same residence in the 200 block of Church Street, the second call regarding a juvenile issue.

MARCH 3

A noise complaint in the 100 block of Liberty Street was addressed.

In the 700 block of Third Street, a vehicle was ticketed due to a parking violation.

Officers assisted the sheriff’s office in the 600 block of South 14th Street, Catasauqua, for a warrant service and North Catasauqua police in the 1000 block of Fourth Street, North Catasauqua.

MARCH 4

Police conducted a welfare check at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St.

Traffic violations were addressed at Howertown Road and Walnut Street, with a verbal warning issued; in the 800 block of Race Street, with a citation issued; in the 700 block of Front Street, with a citation issued; in the unit block of Front Street, with a citation issued; in the 400 block of Front Street, with a warning issued; in the 300 block of Front Street, with a warning issued; and in the 300 block of Second Street.

A vehicle on private property in the unit block of Mulberry Street was reported.

Criminal mischief to a vehicle in the 100 block of Canal Street was investigated.
