Liberty HS Theatre will perform the Richard Rogers (music) and Oscar Hammerstein (lyrics) musical “The Sound of Music” Thursday, March 24 at 7 p.m., Friday, March 25 at 7 p.m., and on Saturday, March 26 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the school auditorium. Written by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, the musical is based on the memoir of Maria von Trapp, “The Story of the Trapp Family Singers.” Julie Wydrzynski is director and vocal director. Laura Mainiero is assistant director, Allen Frank pit director, Colette Boudreaux choreographer, Ross Makary technical director and set design, Tim Treeweek sound engineer, Matthew-Henri Hervilly scenic charge artist, Zack Spadaccia light design and Katrina Borgerding costumer.
