“Mamma Mia!” brings romance to the stage with classic Abba hits at 7 p.m. March 24, 25, 26 and 2 p.m. March 27, auditorium, Northampton Area High School, 1619 Laubach Avenue, Northampton.

Set on a Greek island, a young bride-to-be invites three men from her mother’s past to her wedding without consulting mom. Who will walk her down the aisle?

Director-Choreographer Gianna Neal is assisted by Music Director Phil Diaz, Technical Director Tony Beleno and Costume Designer Judy Pursell.

With music and lyrics by Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson and book by Catherine Johnson, the musical comedy debuted on Broadway in 2001, receiving five Tony Award nominations. The film version was released in 2008 and a sequel was released in 2018.

Songs include “Mamma Mia!,” “Dancing Queen,” “Take a Chance on Me,” “Super Trouper” and “The Winner Takes It All.”
