Jean L. Scheller, 96, of Kempton, died March 12, 2022, in The Lutheran Home at Topton.

She was the wife of the late Claude A. Scheller Sr.

Born in Upper Milford Township, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Verna (Miller) Reese.

She worked in a shirt factory in the Lehigh Valley for many years.

In her younger years, she and her husband traveled to many locations with their son David, and she continued after her husband died.

She was happiest when her great-grandchildren were with her.

They brought such happiness to her and made her feel young again.

She was an avid gardener who loved the outdoors. In her quite time she enjoyed a good book.

She was a quite woman who would do anything for anyone.

Her survivors include daughters Sharon Richter of Kempton and Linda Wanko (Gary) of Allentown; daughter-in-law Jane Scheller; grandchildren Heather Rucci (Frank), Ryan Roth (Evan), Michael Richter (Michele), Melissa Goldstein, Stephanie Miceli, Brad Scheller (Tara), Matt Scheller (Paul), Randi Rohm (Matt), Corey Scheller, Tony Kistler (Chelsie), and Kierstyn Scheller; 19 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by sons David (Tom), Dale and Claude Jr., and son-in-law, Joseph Richter Jr.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. March 19 at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, 1700 Airport Road, Allentown.

Visitation will be 5:30-7 p.m. March 18 at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St, Fogelsville.
